Jon and Julie Limmer, Wycliffe Bible Translators.
“We provide technical resources to support Bible translation, using specific abilities and talents that can support proclaiming the Gospel quicker, more accurately, and with greater impact. Julie provides tools to translators to help people understand the Gospel, even before any translated Scripture has been printed. Jon provides computer network and server support to translation centers worldwide.”
While both have served in Papua New Guinea (6 months in 2010 and 3 months in 2014), Jon has been to Kenya and Guinea-Bissau to provide computer network and internet solutions for local translation offices. God leads and we follow.
First Step Pregnancy Center, 1138 West Street, Rutland, Vermont
First Step envisions “a culture where women and men facing pregnancy decisions are empowered by the gospel of Jesus Christ to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life fore their families.”
Global School of Sports Ministry
“The fundamental purpose of GSSM is to identify and train committed Christian leadership in the effective use and understanding of sports ministry. Sports ministry, simply defined, is any program or strategy that uses sports as a vehicle to fulfill Christ’s command to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. It is using sports to evangelize and disciple with the emphasis on making disciples.”
GSSM is a training program that uses online instruction coupled with selected practicums to equip dedicated men and women to become sports ministry leaders.
The Voice of the Martyrs
The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting our persecuted family worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ
Their ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
VOM’s Mission Statement is : “Serving persecuted Christians through practical and spiritual assistance and leading other members of the Body of Christ into fellowship with them.”
Teen Challenge Vermont
Teen Challenge offers Christ-centered, faith-based solutions to youth, adults, and families who struggle with life-controlling problems.
“Teen Challenge is holistic – meaning that we are concerned with the body, mind, and spirit of those who come to us for help. We endeavor to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
